Product Description
Plexus MA8120 Methacrylate Structural Adhesive pairs a low-halogen, two-part methacrylate system with direct bonding of metal, plastic, and composite assemblies. The 1:1 formulation provides primerless adhesion to raw and coated metals, including hot-dip galvanized surfaces, as well as most thermoplastics and composites. Its lower-odor formulation combines high strength and elongation with fatigue resistance, impact resistance, and toughness. Environmental resistance includes salt-spray exposure and related environmental factors. MA8120 is suited to industrial and transportation structures that require broad substrate coverage without a separate metal-primer step.
