Product Description
H.B. Fuller MP-55350 Methacrylate Structural Adhesive is an extended-working-time two-part methyl methacrylate adhesive for structural bonding of metals, thermosets, thermoplastics, and composites. A 1:1 resin-to-activator mix provides a 15-26 minute open time for placement and alignment, followed by fixture in 35-55 minutes at 25 deg C. The material fills gaps up to 0.125 in and reaches full cure in 24 hours. Typical cured properties include Shore D 75 hardness, 3,190-4,640 psi tensile strength, and ASTM D1002 overlap shear of 3,000 psi on carbon steel and 2,800 psi on aluminum.
