BOSTIK L1007M

Main features

  • Broad-Substrate Adhesion Primer
  • Fast-Drying Heat-Resistant Base Coat
  • Metal/Plastic/Glass/Wood Surface Priming

Product Description

Bostik 1007M Primer is a general-purpose, solvent-based synthetic resin primer designed to improve the adhesion of subsequently applied adhesives and coatings. It forms a firm base coat that enhances bonding efficiency while providing good heat resistance and bond flexibility. Developed as a replacement for Bostik 1007P Primer with improved container stability, it is suitable for preparing metals, plastics, glass, wood, concrete, and other rigid or semi-rigid substrates used across the aerospace, automotive, construction, electronics, plastics, rubber, and textile industries. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

Key Features

  • General-purpose adhesion primer improves the anchorage of adhesives and coatings on a wide variety of substrates.
  • Fast drying to the touch in approximately one hour at room temperature.
  • Good heat resistance and bond flexibility for demanding industrial applications.
  • Improved storage stability developed as a replacement for Bostik 1007P Primer.

Applications / Suitable For

  • Priming metal or concrete tanks, vats and ducts before installation of semi-rigid PVC liners
  • Primer for bonding synthetic rubber de-icing equipment to aircraft wings and propellers
