3M 760 UV

Main features

  • High-Modulus, High Shore-a Hardness Formulation
  • Moisture-Cure Sealing Processing
  • Isocyanate-Free, Low VOC Formulation

Product Description

3M™ SMP Adhesive Sealant 760UV is a one-component, moisture-curing Silane Modified Polymer (SMP) sealant that forms a permanent, elastic bond. Designed as an isocyanate-free alternative to traditional polyurethanes, it features excellent UV resistance and high tensile strength capable of replacing mechanical fasteners. This high-modulus, high Shore-A hardness paste effectively bonds to a wide array of materials, including plastics, metals, fiberglass, and wood.

Key features

  • Isocyanate-free performance: One-component, low VOC formulation cures with moisture and can be painted when wet.
  • High-strength bonding: High modulus and high Shore-A hardness formulation delivers strong, permanent elastic bonds that can replace rivets and mechanical fasteners.
  • Environmental durability: Provides excellent resistance to UV, water, and salt spray.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Bonding floors, exterior/interior panels, and roofs for trucks, trains, trailers, and vans
  • General industrial and construction applications
  • Bonding dissimilar materials like plastics, metals, fiberglass, and wood
